Most people feel very little — a brief tap, then a heavy or warm sensation. The needles are single-use, sterile and much finer than the ones used for injections.
A 30-minute acupuncture session or a 15-minute TCM wellness consultation are both good starting points. Your practitioner will suggest what to do next.
Our practitioners are certified and hold a trusted professional affiliation, so treatments are covered by many Irish health insurance plans. Ask your provider what your policy includes and we'll give you a receipt.
It depends on the condition and how long you've had it. Some people feel a change after one session; longer-standing issues usually respond best to a short course of weekly visits.
